History
The people of Omo valley have been interacting together and with their Kenyan, Sudanese and Ethiopian neighbours for centuries. A complex history of migrations, often driven by cattle-herding necessities, brought them there.
People
The Lower Omo Valley is home to more than 16 tribes, most of them that can be accessed from Jinka. They display and outsanding variety of languages, cultures and body ornaments we can now explore.
Landmarks
The Mago National Park as well as the Omo National Park are among the main highlights in South Omo, while the river later joins the lake Turkana on the other side of the Kenyan border. Follow our lead to discover the most marvelous scenaries.
